Services
The Port of Luanda offers a series of services to its customers, in addition to providing business support, improving port operations, and combating waste
Supply Water
The supplying of local potable water to the vessels is guaranteed in all terminals. An emergency supply of water can be solicited and made with a vessel not anchored to the port.
Provisions and spares
The ships anchored or moored at the port can partake in resupplying of provisions and spares, pending express approval and according to existing norms at the Port of Luanda, through specialized shipping companies.
Anchorage
Vessels can be safely anchored in the Bay of Luanda. The entrance channel is formed by firm soil, sand, and mud. Its profundity varies between 15 and 30 meters.
Piloting
Piloting is ensured by a specialized company, EPIBAL – Barra de Luanda Piloting Company. Piloting is mandatory for all national and international vessels for vessels exceeding 500 gross tonnes.
Fueling
There is an availability of heavy fuel oil and Marine HFO, fueled by Sonangol – The National Society of Fuels of Angola.
Ship Repair
There are two small spaces for repairing fishing vessels and small coastal vessels. There is also a floating dock for emergency repairs for vessels up to 6,000 Dwt.
Electronic Locker
The Electronic Locker is the instrument used by clients, to interact with the Port of Luanda, via electronic mail, facilitating communications, document organization and archiving. It can be reached through the following addresses:

Payment Portal
It is the main instrument for the payment of Port use fees (TUP). It also allows the client to, independently and comfortably, manage their checking account from almost any electronic platform in the planet.
One-Stop Port Booth
Has as its objective to group, in a single spot, all the services that have to do with the shipping of items out of Luanda. The booth is where Port Lease and payment invoices are emitted.
Towing Service
The Towing Service is guaranteed by the EPINOSUL company, that services vessels in all terminals, for both porting and deporting and changing. The Towing Service is also readily available to aid in certain exceptional situations such as:
• Transport of passengers, provisions, spares, and water fueling;
• Repair Assistance to the upkeep and infrastructure of the Port;
• Upon request, service assistance and aid for vessels inside or outside the Port;
• Collaboration with other entities for technical services, supervision or maintenance of moored equipment, of interest for the Port;
• Firefighting, combating oil spills and other noxious agents.
